Abstracts |
Effect of wood ash treatment on the morphological parameters and mycorrhization of Scots pine seedlings in peat soils was analysed. The influence of 6 and 12 t ha-1 wood ash applications, worked onto the soil 12 months prior to planting of containerised seedlings, was evaluated and the dynamics of mineral nutrients in fertilised sample plots was followed. It was concluded that ash fertilisation increases the amount of P and K in soil compared with control. Wood ash application of 6 t ha-1 was found to increase the dry mass of the aboveground parts of Scots pine seedlings as well as the length of the seedlings. This dose promoted the growth of light fork-shaped mycorrhiza. |
