Abstracts |
The effects of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) and soil-earthworm mixture on the growth of coffee plants in acrisol, dystric cambric and eutric cambisol were determined under nursery conditions. Leaf area increased by 6-140% with VAM application. The mass of the endophytic mycorrhizal fungi was inversely dependent on soil fertility. The activity of Glomus clarum, G. fasciculatum and G. spurcum was optimum in acrisol-dystric cambisol. |
