A field experiment was conducted in Raipur, Madhya Pradesh, India, to investigate the influence of bio-inoculants on the availability and uptake of macro- and micronutrients in Lathyrus cv. BioL-212. The treatments include: T1:60:40:30 kg NPK/ha (control); T2: T1 + phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB); T3: T1 + Azospirillum; T4: T1 + vesicular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) + PSB; T5: T1 + VAM + Azospirillum; T6: T1 + VAM + PSB + Azospirillum + 5 tonnes farmyard manure/ha; T7: 80:50:30 kg/NPK/ha; and T7: 120:60:40 kg NPK/ha. Results showed that the uptake of macro- and micronutrients in Lathyrus increased due to residual effect of bio-inoculants. The nutrient uptake under T6 was better compared to other treatments. The residual effect of the different bio-inoculants was observed statistically insignificant for the availability of KMNO4-N, NH4OAC-K and Olsen-P after harvest of Lathyrus.. |
