Abstracts |
Mycorrhizal colonization, soil fertility and P nutrition were studied in 53 vineyards of cv. Victoria. The roots of all samples were colonized by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (mainly the genus Glomus). Soil P concentration was negatively correlated with the number of mycorrhiza spores/100 g of soil, root colonization arbuscules/cm of root and vescicles/cm of root, but positively correlated with leaf P. Also, the number of spores/100 - of soil was negatively correlated with soil K, Mg and Cu concentration, soil electrical conductivity and organic matter content, but positively correlated with soil Ca concentration. Furthermore, root colonization (%) was negatively correlated with soil K and Cu concentration as well as with soil electrical conductivity. |
