Abstracts |
Investigations were conducted to identify suitable arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi for Emblica officinalis (aonla), Zizyphus mauritiana (ber), Buchanania lanzan (chironji) and Cordia myxa (lasoda) at nursery stage at NRCAF, Jhansi during 2007-08. Total 7 arbuscular mycorrhizal (arbuscular mycorrhizae) species, belonging to genera Acaulospora (1) and Glomus (6) were isolated from rhizosphere of these plant species. Inoculations with theses arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi showed that G. intraradix was the most suitable for aonla and lasoda, Glomus 2 for ber and G. cerebriforme for chironji. |
