Abstracts |
Yield maximization in saffron using biofertilizers revealed that inoculation with Azospirilum+VAM recorded the maximum saffron yield followed by Azotobacter+Vermicompost. Highest saffron yield was also associated with substantial corm yield. However, maximum corm recovery was attained through inoculation with Trichoderma+FYM. Yield maximization was associated with increased number of flowers, increased plant height and maximum number of leaves. |
