Abstracts |
The effects of lanthanum nitrate and inoculation of OM fungus on the growth, root activity, uptake of nutrients of Dendrobium nobile and the active component accumulation were investigated using a pot experiment. The activities of nitrate reductase and phosphatase were also analyzed. The results indicated that appropriate concentration of lanthanum nitrate promoted the development of mycorrhiza. OM fungus promoted the growth of D. nobile, including underground and aboveground biomass. Moreover, D. nobile inoculated with OM fungus and applied with lanthanum nitrate 5.0 mg•L-1 had the largest biomass which was of 4.76-fold compared to control. Both lanthanum nitrate application and inoculation with OM fungus increased root activity and nutrient absorption. The activities of nitrate reductase and phosphatase also increased. The proteins, polysaccharides and dendrobine in levels increased significantly. The inoculation with OM fungus and application with lanthanum nitrate can promote the growth of D. nobile and the content of active components. |
