Abstracts |
A study was conducted in Egypt during 1995 and 1996 to evaluate the growth of annona cv. Sugar Apple seedlings under mycorrhiza application (Glomus macrocarpum and G. australe) and 3 levels of rock phosphate (0.25, 0.50 or 1.00 g). Soil was either sterilized or left unsterilized. Rock phosphate and mycorrhizal inoculation increased growth parameters and leaf mineral content (N, P, K, Mg, Fe, Mn and Zn). Soil sterilization and supplementation with high level of rock phosphate (1.00 g) and G. macrocarpum was the best for increasing growth parameters and leaf mineral content. |
